SDCM, the creative brain trust behind several of San Diego’s nationally acclaimed restaurants, including the Michelin Bib Gourmand award- winning Kettner Exchange and North County’s chic culinary gem, Waverly, proudly present Camino Riviera, a sultry and creative celebration of the Yucatán coastline. Owner, Matt Spencer teamed up with the space’s previous owner, Mauricio Couturier (El Camino) to design the interior for Camino Riviera. As El Camino was a beloved San Diego hot spot, Spencer and Couturier wanted to pay tribute to the original location while exploring the beauty and raw elements of Tulum. With a deep appreciation of the artistry and architecture of the region, Camino Riviera will replicate the wanderer’s experience. The space aims to transport guests not only visually but is set to create a full sensory experience to evoke the spirit of the Riviera Maya.
